Pastor Tunde Bakare of The Latter Rain Assembly says he told President Muhamamdu Buhari that he (Bakare) would become Nigeria’s 16th president.

The Lagos-based cleric says as far as politics is concerned, it is not over for him
As the 2019 general elections draw nearer, the presiding pastor of the Latter Rain Assembly, Pastor Tunde Bakare, has said he told President Muhammadu Buhari that he (Bakare) would become Nigeria’s 16th president.
The Lagos-based cleric made the statement in an interview in Calgary, Canada, adding that he is currently building a political family from across the world, which would be deployed for future political aspirations.
We notes that Bakare said President Buhari is the 15th president or head of state of the country, adding that he (Bakare) would be the 16th.
Bakare said in the interview: “As far as politics is concerned, it is not over truly; you would find out that I shifted gear in the year 2018, I did what I have never done before.
“This would be the fourth or the fifth visits to the Nigerians in diaspora, letting them know that God sent them to these different nations to learn, that their time is at hand.
“The time is at hand when many of them would have to come back and contribute their meaningful quota; they can speak to their governments on behalf of our people.
“They can intervene in many ways. I am going around, doing that; in London, in Maryland, DC, in Australia, went to the parliament in Australia — in Scotland, and now in Calgary, about February, I’d be in California.”
According to Bakare, he has informed President Buhari about his plan so as not to be misunderstood.
He added: “And I told Mr. President because I don’t want to be misunderstood, because these things are being aired all over the world.
“I said Mr. President, I am building a political family for future political aspirations; you’re number 15, I’d be number 16.”
Meanwhile, Naijachurchnews previously reported that the presiding pastor of the Latter Rain Assembly, Pastor Tunde Bakare, said life was better under the administration of former president Goodluck Jonathan even though the previous administration was fraught with corruption.
Pastor Bakare made the assertion in an interview he granted in Calgary, Canada.
The Lagos-based cleric said, however, Nigeria had stopped importing rice for three years under the current administration.
According to Pastor Bakare, this is an incredible achievement.
He said: “We are no longer importing rice for three years that is an incredible achievement; seventeen local governments occupied by Boko Haram no longer an issue…”
Bakare stated that the undesirable state of education, healthcare delivery and infrastructural deficit did not start with President Muhammadu.
Bakare says President Buhari is the 15th president or head of state, adding that he (Bakare) will become the 16th.
